Overview
The Hotel Corallo is a few minutes from the town centre and situated on the cliff above the Marina of Sant’Agnello.

The History
It is built on the remains of a Roman Temple of the Nymphs and situated next to the historical residence of the Capuchin monks. An elegant patrician house which at the end of the 1920s, became a hotel and was given the name “ Cappuccini”.The building was kept in its original style.It soon became a meeting point for intellectuals and artists like the great Luigi Pirandello who stayed there in 1930s.
During the following decade, it was given the name of “Hotel Rex” and remained so, until the end of 1960s, when it was decided to rename it “ Corallo”
The Terraces
On the spacious and elegant terraces, laden with flowers, you can relax with a good book.
Only the sounds of the seagulls and the voices of the far bathers , they will disturb you.
From the balconies of the rooms you admire the splendid Sorrentine Peninsula, from the ruins of Villa Pollio, of Regina Giovanna, to Punta Gradelle.
It seems as if you could touch the Bay of Naples from Pompei to Capo Miseno and even Ischia. It is possible to go on daily excursions to all these places.
The Sea
The nearby Marinella beach attracts many tourists to its volcanic sands.
Many of them who love the tranquillity and splendid sights of Capri, Ischia, Procida, Positano, Amalfi and the tiny Galli Isles, would like to spend long lazy days in the sun, either on their own boat or as an organized excursions, taking in the wonders of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The Rooms
The Hotel Corallo is a historical residence dating back to the last century, offering a variety of different rooms in that style. There are 60 rooms and almost all of them have a terrace or balcony where the guest can spend a large part of their stay, admiring the flowers and mediterranean vegetation or gazing out to sea.
